I definitely fit this idea of Americans being tall, I'm around 1675cm and 54kg, I think I'd be taller than a lot of men and most of the women if I ever decided to go on holiday to Japan I blame fast food and calorie-dense comfort food for the weight issues in the US and UK I'm not American, but I think English stats are very close to that of American

I do find it interesting when they see these sorts of stats On the one hand, most of the people they see are more normal Taller and not obese Because fatter people tend to be poorer in the US And going to Japan can be expensivebrThe people at the start had a lot of the right of it to an extent The obese people drive that up immensely There's a minimum weight a person can be So if ten weight 55KG and one weighs 275KG that drives the average weight up a lotbrAnd I imagine they generally think of black NBA players and white film stars when they think of Americans Not the 10 or so of Americans who are Asian

How does this comparison even work? I mean the US is a multicultural country with different races, ethnicities and no taboo when it comes to different body sizes Japan has foreigners too, but is mainly populated by one race where skinny body type is the pushed standard I would be a more fair comparison to do Japan vs Hungary, for example Or with Iceland

Genetically East Asians are smaller in stature, have smaller frames and are less curvy than other ethnic groups like white or black East Asians also have a naturally faster metabolism The healthy weight range for East Asians is lower than other races as East Asians are more likely to develop conditions like diabetes if they are overweight so staying healthy is more important So that is way Japanese people usually weigh less, even compared to a healthy American To say all this, America also has a problem with obesity due to bad diets and lack of exercise I think this is really what pushes the number up If you look at the average weight of the Netherlands for example I think you will see a number that better reflects the difference between ethnicities while still being considered healthy I would say the Netherlands would probably have about the same amount of healthy women weight wise as Japan but the number is higher in the Netherlands due to the reasons I stated at the beginning

I live in New Zealand and the average height and weight and stuff is usually quite similar here as America But I’ve noticed with younger generations, and it’s probably the same in America too, that the average height is getting taller So I’m 165cm and overall I would be considered average but compared to teenagers and young adults I would be considered short This has always been a thing with each generation getting taller but I feel like the difference is quite big with this generation Also age plays a big part in weight In New Zealand I’ve noticed for middle aged women the average weight is about 80-90kg while with teenagers and young adults it’s about 60kg

I'm 167cm and about 60 kg but I'm always called really skinny, but I have slightly wider hips It all depends on how your weight is distributed I think And your weight doesn't mean that you aren't slim either Even so, nothing is wrong with you if you aren't "skinny" per se All that matters is that you're healthy

Most of the girls I see around that are the average height look much thinner than the weigh presented here I am 175cm and weigh around 74kg Height does add weigh Also in alot of these videos the Japanese culture seems to prefer thin non sporty body types While in America sports for females and working out to gain muscle is very normal There is also the difference in body types Hour glass ie large bust and butt but thin waist Or pear with a small bust and waist but large hips and butt Having these body types also adds weight to a person

I don't pretend to know "what a lady should weigh" However, surely 40-50 kg does take me back for a second But it's a good reminder that height really does heavily impact weight I would characterise 40 KG as a weight that a person would need to "lose a leg or two" to achieve However, that's only because my concept of weight is tied to my height

I am 5'4"/163cm and when i was very very sick i weighed about 54kg/120lbs I hope i am never so thin ever again! It was very painful and all my bones stood out I had no muscle, just tight skin pulled over bones My healthy weight is 60kg/137lbs What looks good and is healthy really has to do with bone structure I am very overweight now because of steroids and symptoms of illness aftermath I am currently working out and exercising to reduce back to healthy weight Also, western girls, naturally, have larger chest, hips, and thighs often These add to weight

Well 70kg is quite a lot but i think it is normal because western girls have more curves which could weights +10lbs so a good 5-8kg more than the japanese skinny body so an average of 60-65kg would be better

Japan should not discriminate on height A tall guy and tall woman most likely bring forth tall adults The average guy height with shorter woman will either bring forth average height or shorter men likewise wemen If a guy wants to increase the chances of having tall kids he must merry a woman taller than him If you want tall you have to get the tall gene from the one who has it There is no shame in having a tall woman in fact it compliments a guy Think about it this way, all that woman is yours and you tell the world just by everyone seing her height that you are men enough to have it all There is nothing more bad ass than that

So the average height is true for US being 5'4" but the weight is a problem 170 pounds goes to the gut 5'4" at 135 is a well rounded thicc chick Below 130 is model body like 125 at 5'4" For the most part if the 130 to 135 is legs hips butt breast and arms is fine but once we loose the hour glass shape going into a beer keg or ball we are unhealthy and unattractive
