I'm curious about the age of this piece, and the movement - the bezel turns in both directions so it's a "skin-diver" rather than a full diver as we know them today? I have a couple of Seiko watches - both quartz #1 is a Divers 150, bought in 1978, and #2 is the watch now called an 'Arnie', bought in 1985 Both look like new and both keep excellent time, it really makes me wonder why I have another $20000+ worth of watches BTW, what is the 'magic lever' at 29:17? I used to repair watches as a hobby years ago but when my hands/fingers became arthritic I sold my parts cleaning machine to get it out of temptations way to carry on, I was dropping tools and parts in to the movements! 😊brbrHave to say though, I've never seen a loppier watch and movement!- All that DNA 😲 🤮brbrFabulous job as always!! I think I have the same watch except my crown is straight out the side I’ve had that watch for at least 40 yrs It broke on me several years ago and the jewelers back then wouldn’t touch it They told me if I had to have it fixed I would have to send it back to the factory and it would cost more than it was worth This was the first good watch I bought because I was starting to dive then It looks well warm, the whole insides are loose Comment from : Richard B |

A rich uncle gifted me with a Seiko diver's watch when I was in grade 5 It was too big & heavy for me So I told my uncle I'll give to my father instead My father liked it so much, he wore it everyday My Father passed away last July 10 Now I wear the watch I was gifted after 40 years!
